Baggara Girl on an Ox - 4 millieme

This stamp commemorates Sudan's rich cultural heritage, nomadic lifestyles, and traditional rural economy by depicting a Baggara girl riding an ox through a rural landscape with a prominent baobab tree in the background. The subject highlights the social identity of the Baggara people, pastoralist Arab tribes of Darfur and Kordofan who are historically famous for training cattle for transport, riding, and carrying household goods.
