4th Arab League Summit Conference in Khartoum (1967)- 65 millim

This commemorative postage stamp was issued in August 1967 by Sudan to mark the hosting of the 4th Arab League Summit Conference in Khartoum. Staging a major international summit allowed the Sudanese government to position Khartoum as a central diplomatic hub for regional leadership, political mediation, and strategic Arab unity during a critical period. The issue was released to commemorate the historic 1967 Khartoum Summit, convened in the immediate aftermath of the Six-Day War to coordinate a unified Arab political and financial response. Famous for producing the "Three Nos" resolution (no peace, no recognition, no negotiations with Israel), the conference served as a landmark moment in mid-20th-century Middle Eastern diplomacy and regional geopolitical consensus.
